Simon started the company back in 2010 after forging his way in the industry through a major supplier.
Simon started his career as an Apprentice Instrument Mechanic at British Nuclear Fuels (BNFL). Then after completing a degree at Manchester University, Simon worked at Motorola as a Firmware Engineer, completing a 3 year Graduate Development Programme.
It was during this period, that Simon developed his interest in the Photovoltaics market and started attending exhibitions that displayed and sold PV products.
He arranged regular trips to countries such as China to visit PV manufacturers in order to further enhance his understanding of the PV product range.
This inspired Simon to set up his own electrical business, specializing in PV installations.
With several years of experience in the PV sector, he is seen as a leading voice inthe industry. Simon has also expanded the business out into the Channel Islands with another office in Guernsey, taking a keen role in the development of the renewable technologies.
Out of work Simon enjoys spending time with his family and has a passion for worldwide travel, snowboarding and diving.
“Getting Little Green to where it is now has been been challenging, exciting and rewarding. As a team, we take great satisfaction from working in an industry that is making such a difference to people’s lives and the environment”
